There are many challenges faced by both employees and employers when integrating new hires into the workplace.  These challenges can be addressed by Bridge Programs, Educational Opportunity Centers, and other pograms.  To ensure a smooth transition and overcome several of the barriers that may be faced, many employers and employees have chosen the various support services offered by the Cumberland and Salem One Stop Career Centers.

• Locating work-ready people can be difficult, but participating agencies, as well as the One Stop Career Centers, can assist effectively in this matter.
  
  
• Some potential new hires may lack the ability to communicate effectively and adapt to the work environment while managing personal and educational interest.  This can be overcome through a variety of life skills training.
